September Eleventh

As we sit comfortably in our homes, please take a moment to remember those who died eleven years to the date.  Think of all the families who's lives were shattered in an instant.  Think of the emergency personnel of New York City who gave their lives to save others.  Offer up a prayer to those families and those souls lost.

Get Ready to Hunt

It's nearly hunting season!  Get ready to take your kids hunting by going to your nearest outdoor shop and stock up on all your hunting needs, from guns, to licenses, to ammunition.  Bass Pro Shops is a good place, but your local gun store would work fine.  I have my own hunters safety license so I can get a hunting license.  I am going to go on my first hunting trip this season and I'm stoked.  Fishing season is coming to its climax too!  August through October is the best time in Baja and Mexico.  Knock em dead!!!

First Overnight

I went on my first overnight trip on the Shogun in late May.  There was a prospect of yellow tail and I had never caught one.  The weather was rough with eight foot seas during the fishing hours.  Early in the morning, I had the first catch of the day, but it was a bird.  The bird swallowed my hook so I had to re-rig.  The captain hooked a fish and handed it off to me.  It took about 10 minuets to bring it in and it was a 25 lbs yellow tail!!!  My first yellow tail!  It was pretty awesome!  I also brought in a ling cod just within legal limits about 2 feet long.  All in all it was a great trip and the crew and captain of the Shogun are awesome.  I recommend going to http://shogunsportfishing.com and booking a trip.  October is the best time to fish so Knock 'em dead!!

Midterms and Bronchitis

I have midterms this week and I got Bronchitis on Sunday.  I have been firing at one cylinder since Monday and took an Omnibus midterm and did some Latin translating for a midterm project.  I have to do an Algebra midterm and some other stuff on Friday...  I hope my brain will be working by then...  Wish me luck!

IT'S THE WEEKEND!!!

Finally, after five days, it's the weekend!  I still have to study like a madman, but at least I can have more time outside.  With Exam Week next week, I'll be doing all my exams and studying 24/7.  If you have a mindblock, go outside for five minuets and think about how nice the weather is.  Then go back and finnish what you were doing before.  Fresh air refreshes your mind and your body.  Have a great day!

HB Central Park

If you are in the Orange County California Area, then go to the Huntington Beach Central Park.  It is a huge park, perfect for walking and dog friendly.  There are many entrances to the park, one by the Huntington Beach Library.  I encourage you to go there or to any local park and get some fresh air.

TEBOW TIME

Tim Tebow is on FIRE!  The Broncos took down the mighty Pittsburgh Steelers in Overtime.  Now this team shall go on to face the New England Patriots and Tom Brady.  GO BRONCOS! GO TEBOW! (If you are a fan of the Steelers or Patriots, no offense intended. I am just expressing my team's success)

7th Grade

7th grade is limiting my time outdoors.  I have mid-terms next week, a 5 paragraph biography from an interview, and 3 other exams along with 4 essays in Omnibus and more.  With the new year, brings exams.
